Eclaire Fille De Sa’a outclassed a depleted Vision Sport of Bamenda side 6-1in Yaounde to record the biggest win of the Women’s Guinness Super League Match Day One.

The host were already leading 2-1 before the break but produced a commanding second half display to settle the contest with relative ease, scoring 4 times to frustrate Vision Sport.

Eleane Bibout-who finished top scorer last season-, scored a brace while Yvette Daha, Ngo Ngock, Jenifer Aboudi and Fukuin Odet were also on target. Makaki Achick scored the consolation goal for Vision Sport in the first half.


AWA FC began the defence of their Women’s Super League title by edging a resilient Louves Minproff side 3-2 in the championship’s first game last weekend.

Skipper Genevieve Owona opened the scoring from the spot while Kevin Ossol doubled the lead with a delightful finish before the break.

Brenda Tabe stunner condemned last season’s vice champions Louves MINPROFF to defeat despite an impressive second half fight back with goals from Danye Minbang and Andrienne Tchinda.

Amazon FAP 2-1 Lekie Filles

Amazon FAP came from behind to beat newly promoted side Lekie Filles 2-1 on Wednesday at the annex of the Yaounde Ahmadou Ahidjou Stadium.

Angela Megueyep gave the visitors an early lead on two minutes with a sublime strike before Bongben Buh Confidence scored a brace within four minutes to inspire Amazon FAP to a deserve 2-1 win.

Renaissance Women 0-1 Authentic Ladies

Debutants Authentic Ladies of Douala stunned Renaissance Women 1-0 to record their first win since gaining promotion to the Women’s Guinness Super League.

It is a decent start for last season’s Women’s second division champions who occupy the fourth spot on the league’s standings.

Caiman 1-0 Canon FF

Caiman Filles picked up a slim 1-nil home win against Canon FF at the Japoma Annex Stadium in Douala.

V. Leedjou scored the solitary goal as the Littoral base club made a winning start. The win means Caiman are fifth on the logs.

FC Ebolowa 1-0 Eding Filles

FC Ebolowa saw off some spirited opposition from Eding Filles to claim their first win of the season.

The victory implies they join five other clubs to win their opening games and occupy the 6th place of the 12 club Women’s top tier championship.
